Just can't get enough? Spain's Friedhof Magazine recently premiered new song "Scarlet Road." Stream it exclusively at this location.

Combining elements of technical extreme metal, industrial, and the avant-garde into a whirlwind of bombastic audio atrocities, Boston (MA)/Hot Springs (AR) tandem SKIN DRONE are set to release debut album Evocation June 14 on Bluntface Records.

The web-based duo of vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Erik Martin and multi-instrumentalist/producer Otto Kinzel have created nine songs of genre-defying metal with stories plagued by insanity and darkness on Evocation. Check out the band's brand new official video for album track "Death Sentence" by clicking on the link below.

"Nine songs that look to leave a path of destruction."

- JP's Music Blog

"A tempestuous journey through ravenous shadows, hellacious landscapes, and emotive turmoil but songs which equally at times share melancholic beauty and intimate psychosis."

- The RingMaster Review

"The album feels like a roller coaster ride, with it's constant twists and turns, never adhering to one particular sound. This unpredictability of Skin Drone comes as a respite in a time where most bands follow the beaten track."

- Transcending Obscurity

"Evocation's unpredictability on their debut recording comes from a painstaking process of imagination and songwriting.I can't say if this is the next wave in extreme music yet, but I can say it's a worthy contender."

- Autoeroticasphyxium Zine

BIO
Combining elements of technical extreme metal, industrial, and avant-garde into a whirlwind of bombastic audio atrocities. We strive to create music that surrounds itself in chaos, depravity and truth. We're not interested in your mainstream heroes, we only care about our heroes. A compliment from a true underground fan trumps the praises of an MTV/Viacom groupie everytime. Skin Drone formed in September of 2014 and features Erik Martin ( Vocals & Multi - Instrumentalist) and Otto Kinzel ( Multi - Instrumentalist & Production). Even with 1,000 miles between us, we strive to create a brutal and complex sound that sets a soundscape for your inner most nightmares. Evocation is only the first chapter in what will become a more complex and heavier Skin Drone with each successive chapter
