MONDO DAYTONA (1968)

"Filmed in swinging Daytona Beach, Florida while 100,000 college students live it up in the sun!"

"Drunken kids fool around in Daytona Beach and a few bands become momentarily coherent enough to lip-sync to their tunes." - from IMDB.com

Hot damn, Grand Funk Railroad's in this! For a minute, anyway. Watch weird, wild fun in the sun in this light-hearted mondo romper.

SHOCKING ASIA (1976)

"Not for the faint of heart..."

When I was little, my folks subscribed to a VHS catalog called "Video Marketplace." Shocking Asia was one of the movies I saw many times in the magazines but never watched as a kid.

It's probably very much to my betterment that I didn't.

MONDO BIZARRO (1966)

"To the worm in the cheese, the cheese is the universe."

"A faux travelogue that mixes documentary and mockumentary footage. The camera looks through a one-way glass into the women's dressing room at a lingerie shop, visits a Kyoto massage parlor, goes inside the mailroom at Frederick's of Hollywood, watches an Australian who sticks nails through his skin and eats glass, checks out the art and peace scene in Los Angeles, takes in Easter week with vacationing college students on Balboa Island, observes a German audience enjoying a play about Nazi sadism, and, with the help of powerful military lenses, spies on a Lebanese white-slavery auction..." - from IMDB.com
