TRAP THEM: NEW ALBUM 'CROWN FERAL' DUE THIS FALL

This fall, TRAP THEM will return with "Crown Feral," another heaping of venomous, unapologetic, darkened hardcore. The band's fifth full-length was once again recorded with longtime friend and collaborator Kurt Ballou (Converge, Skeletonwitch) at GodCity Studio in Salem, Mass., and follows the 2014 release of "Blissfucker," which Revolver called their "most dangerous declaration to date". TRAP THEM recently re-emerged on the East Coast for a pair of headlining dates that showcased their vicious and no-holds-barred live performance. Punk/metal veterans TAU CROSS have shared a new live video of their performance at Roadburn 2016, their first-ever EU performance (captured by Pit Full Of Shit's Frank Huang). The footage includes a new song called "Bread and Circuses" in addition to the track "Prison," from the band's 2015 self-titled debut.

The band's Rob Miller commented on the footage,

"We were extremely pleased to see so many people attending the Tau Cross show during Roadburn, it was a very special event for the Band, who had all met for the first time three weeks before. We decided to debut a couple of new songs with the set, Bread and Circuses and RFID, both of which are in the works for the next Album, much of which has now been recorded. cheers for the wonderful support, more news on the way!"

SPIRIT ADRIFT ANNOUNCE DEBUT ALBUM "CHAINED TO OBLIVION" DUE AUGUST 12 VIA PROSTHETIC RECORDS

Following the release of "Behind-Beyond" -- the critically acclaimed EP from psychedelic, classically-infused doom metal act SPIRIT ADRIFT -- which NOISEY proclaimed as "one of 2016's most promising metal releases",PROSTHETIC RECORDS is pleased to announce that SPIRIT ADRIFT will continue to unveil new material with their debut full-length album, "Chained To Oblivion", on August 12. Produced again by Bob Hoag at Arizona's Flying Blanket Studios, "Chained to Oblivion" show the continuing evolution and growth of the band's creator, Nate Garrett, both as a songwriter and a person.



"The songs on "Chained To Oblivion" deal with struggle, adversity, suffering, helplessness, hopelessness, but ultimately triumph", commented Garrett, "I believe that the life experiences which fueled these songs, plus the amount of emotion and energy attached to the recording session itself... all that will touch listeners who are open to it. Garrett continued to share details on the album's stunning artwork from Revolting Worship's Nate Burns adding, "He nailed it, again. The artwork on "Chained To Oblivion" continues to follow the trials and tribulations of Spirit Adrift's matriarch, Brenda. Nate Burns and I talked about my ongoing obsession with outer space, old X-Men comics (particularly some of the Phoenix story arcs), and subliminal stimuli within art. This artwork goes hand in hand with the listening experience, so we've made sure the physical versions of the album are well worth the fans' hard-earned money. I can't wait for the world to hear this album"

Legendary Cleveland quintet RINGWORM have just announced their 8th full-length album Snake Church, a 12-track, 30+ minute testament of vicious aggression. After having converted metalheads and hardcore fans alike with their intense, no-holds-barred live shows and consistently punishing albums over the course of the last 25+ years, RINGWORM once again prove that they are in a league of their own when it comes to face-breaking sonic fury. Recorded and produced by Ben Schigel (Chimaira, ZAO) at Spider Studios and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Nails, Xibalba, Black Breath), Snake Church obliterates the listener and never relents, leaving nothing but bile and bone in its wake. Ever since emerging from the Cleveland metal underground, RINGWORM has garnered the immediate attention of hardcore and metal fans. RINGWORM displays an awesome ferocity in the power of its instruments, and vocalist the Human Furnace uses his voice as a tool to extract the diabolical nature of anyone who hears it. The band has toured with dozens of prominent metal and hardcore acts over the years, ranging from Hatebreed and Converge to Goatwhore, Napalm Death, Voivod, and Eyehategod.

RINGWORM was spawned in 1991 from the metal scene in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1993, the band released The Promise (Incision Records), finding their place amongst other hardcore metal heavyweights such as Integrity and Earth Crisis. However, despite this early success, RINGWORM decided to pursue personal ventures: the Human Furnace concentrated his focus on tattooing and his artwork, while other members joined up with hardcore legends Integrity. Nearly 10 years later, 2001 sawRINGWORM emerge from their hiatus with their critically-acclaimed Victory Records debut Birth Is Pain. Extensive touring followed. The band continued on a steadily upward trajectory, honing its craft and releasing the well-received albums Justice Replaced By Revenge (2005), The Venomous Grand Design, (2007), andScars (2011) via Victory over the course of the next decade.

In 2013, RINGWORM signed to renowned independent label Relapse Records and released yet another testament to their sheer brutality. 2014's Hammer Of The Witch helped elevate the band far beyond underground circles, cementing RINGWORM's reputation as a hardcore / metal heavyweight and garnering praise from by a wide range of publications worldwide including Pitchfork, MetalSucks, and Revolver. 2016 is poised to be a breakout year for RINGWORM with the impending release of the band's eighth full-length, Snake Church.
