Virginia Sludge/Doom Titans BELDAM have joined forces with The Sludgelord for the premiere of new song "Blackened Violet." The track is taken from forthcoming debut album Still the Wretched Linger and can be streamed with extreme prejudice at the link below.
BELDAM will release Still the Wretched Linger on June 17 via Horror Pain Gore Death Productions. Stream opening album track "Needles" at this location.
BELDAM hail from central Virginia and play skull crushing, soul wrenching, depression-ridden misanthropic Sludge with blackened touches. Influenced by the likes of SLEEP, EYEHATEGOD, GRAVES AT SEA, THE MELVINS and BLACK SABBATH, BELDAM combine primordial buzzsaw guitar, massive low end bass, earth shattering drums and intense vocals featuring lyrics which invoke death and despair. Still The Wretched Linger is a relentless record, bulldozing through 40+ minutes of pure desolation!

BIO
Beldam hails from Charlottesville, VA, playing sludgy doom with blackened touches. With influences ranging from Sleep, EyeHateGod, Graves at Sea and Black Sabbath, they pair primordial, buzz saw guitars with intense vocals and lyrics invoking death, despair and decadence.
Bassist Addison Dodds and guitarist Grahm Reynolds came together in 2013 with a mutual love of heavy music. Early work on riffs led to adding drummer Cullen Wade. Reynolds cut his teeth as former guitar tech and touring guitarist for Hank Williams III's metal band, Assjack, in the early 2000s. Dodds played in Comparative Anatomy opening for Vital Remains, Absu, and Deicide. Drummer Wade brings a diverse, hard-hitting style to the band as an established producer and multi-instrumentalist in a variety of music genres. Pennsylvania native Randall Guidry has recently been added as vocalist. With many of the same influences, he trained under former A Life Once Lost vocalist, Bob Meadows.
Beldam emerged in 2014 with a string of successful regional shows playing with national and regional touring acts including Primitive Man, Castle, Ramming Speed, Witch Mountain, Ruby the Hatchet and Earthling. The band 's five-song self-titled demo released by Hota Rex Records is available for download on iTunes and Spotify. Press, video clips, and fan interactions are accessible through the band's Facebook.
