UK Super Metal Vets MONSTERWORK to Release New Album 'Black Swan Annihilation'

UK Super Metal Veterans MONSTERWORKS have announced the June 24 release of new album Black Swan Annihilation. The album will be available as a free download, or CD with bonus tracks and 5.1 Surround / HD stereo mixes. Visit the following link to check out the promo video for the title track: https://youtu.be/gOl4AUbsoS4.

Says Guitarist/Vocalist Jon of the new track:
"This song might seem an odd choice for an album teaser, at 9 minutes long, but it captures all the moods we were going for. Black Swan Annihilation is some of our most epic work and turned out sounding great. The album was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales which was where my favourite album: Judas Priest's Sad Wings of Destiny was produced and also happens to be home to the grand piano on which Freddie Mercury first belted out Bohemian Rhapsody. We hoped to capture some of that classic vibe since those walls have absorbed some spectacular music over the years. Special thanks to Damian Herring of Horrendous for his mixing advice and mastering skills in the post-production stages. This album has taken a lot longer than usual for us to get out there. Hopefully it was worth the wait."

Black Swan Annihilation carries a theme about the rise of man and destruction we could face as the consequence of an unpredictable disaster. There are many 'Black Swan' events throughout history which have caused profound change; this time humanity is taken to the brink of extinction.

Track List:

1. Immortalist
2. To Have Done What Must Be
3. Unbridled Force of Nature
4. Black Swan Annihilation
5. Vanishing Point
6. Unbeheld
7. Archivo Omnia

BIO
MONSTERWORKS has unashamedly stolen from a ludicrous number of metal sub-genres to create a truly unique beast. Be it thrash, death, old-school, prog or black metal, there is something for everyone. Expect wailing guitars, wailing screams and a pounding rhythm section, delivered by a four-man war of sound. Surely they can't be serious?

IMAGE IS NOTHING; METAL IS EVERYTHING.
